Where can you study from
It is possible to study any of Virtual and Open Learning
Academy Ltd courses from anywhere in the world. However
some courses are easier to study from abroad than others and
some restrictions to the type of tuition available apply.
What tuition do I receive whilst I am abroad?
You still get the same level of access to your tutor that
any Virtual and Open Learning Academy Ltd student enjoys.
So our tutors will still mark your assignments and respond
to your written enquiries. Our tutors will not, however,
telephone you whilst you are abroad, so if you need
assistance from your tutor, you will have to email them.
Where can you take your examination?
When you study a GCSE or an 'A' level, then you will need to
be able to return to the UK to take your examinations.
Please remember that most of our GCSEs and 'A' levels have
several examinations which may well be spread over several
weeks.
If you can't
return to the UK for the examination, Virtual and Open
Learning Academy Ltd will issue you with a Diploma based on
your Tutor Marked Assignment results for GCSE or and a
Higher International Diploma for an 'A' level.
If you are studying from abroad, please discuss your
examination options with your student adviser when you
apply.
Delivery Costs
The price of delivery to the UK mainland is included in our
course fees. However, students who live outside of the UK
may be required to pay an extra fee for international
deliveries. Please discuss the cost of delivery with your
student adviser prior to enrolling on your course.
